We asked our Reception parents to write testimonials about our early years. We hope you find these useful and reassuring to read.

We are very happy with St Leonard’s. My daughter has learnt so much in her first year. She has made many friends and has grown lots. We are very happy to be part of the St Leonard’s family.

The staff are amazing and are easy to talk to.

Everyone is very approachable and if you have any issues they are always able to listen and put you at ease.

My daughter is very happy at the school and is always excited to come to school every day. She has made amazing progress with her reading and writing.

We couldn’t be happier with St Leonard’s school. Our son started in September 2023 and he has gained so much confidence in all social situations. He loves going to school and has made lots of lovely friends.

His teacher, Mrs Harris is absolutely fantastic. She is exactly what you would imagine and hope for in a wonderful and exceptional teacher; kind, caring, calm, nurturing, we could go on! We fully believe it is down to her friendly and approachable demeanour that our son settled so quickly and is so happy in his new school.

School drop off is always a bit chaotic with two little ones in tow, but the friendly welcomes from the Head Teacher and other staff members each morning (come rain or shine) is testament to the general feel of the warm and welcoming culture of the school.

Overall we could not be happier and we can’t wait to see what the next few years hold.

Stay and Play was really good. I loved being able to come in and see how my daughter plays all day with her friends and look at her work. She is doing really good and I’m grateful for Mrs Harris and all the other staff that helped make it possible.

What a delightful school! My child settled in within two days. He is so confident with the knowledge of supporting staff and children alike.

He is overjoyed with the school, teachers, class, dinners and activities.
