SMSC & British Values

Our school vision is aligned closely with social, moral, spiritual and cultural education (SMSC) including British values which we see through each aspect - 'sharing faith and hope', 'love and value all', 'learn, remember and do', 'aspire, flourish and shine' . 

At St. Leonard's we provide children with a range of opportunities to develop their social, moral, spiritual and cultural knowledge and understanding, incorporating British values. This is a constant thread throughout each week whether through worship, lessons, clubs, playtime opportunities or extra responsibilities. We also incorporate specific weeks, seasons or events to highlight particular aspects of this foundational knowledge for being a citizen in modern Britain.
