At St Leonard’s we believe that reading and writing are key life skills. Through the English curriculum, all children will be able to read with accuracy, speed, confidence, fluency and understanding, as they journey through their primary education and leave at the end of Year 6 ready to access the secondary school curriculum and with a life-long enjoyment of reading, books and writing.
