Years 1 and 2 visit to Skipton Castle

Years  1 and 2 had a fantastic time finding out about Skipton Castle. 

They enjoyed sharing their knowledge about castles with each other.  The children explored the castle and learnt about the people who lived there. 

Holocaust Memorial Day

To mark the Holocaust Memorial Day, a group of year 5 children had the opportunity to create a piece of artwork at Whalley Library.  The children were taught about what life was like for people in the Concentration Camps and used books to research what items were taken from people before they entered the camps.
